This lesson was written to establish that the Evangelical world promotes a plan of salvation which is quite different from the Biblical plan of salvation. I start off painting a very clear picture of what the Evangelical world teaches, then challenge those assertions.
This is probably the first controversial topic we discuss hear at AFTO. This is where the real discussions begin. I suspect the battle lines will be drawn somewhere around that fence line over there which says, “It is perfectly OK to approach God from any direction you feel comfortable with.” That sounds like a fine statement, but remember, our goal should be to back every statement up with a solid scriptural basis. Will God… does God allow us to approach Him in any way we want or has he provided some guidelines and protocols?
